ABOUT
Grape Vision Ltd is a company set up by Robin Dicey in 1996 to develop and manage vineyards for people who want to own a vineyard but lack the viticultural skills or time. His son James, who joined the business in 2004, purchased the company from Robin in 2010 and runs the business with a highly skilled and experienced team.

James Dicey
Viticulturalist
After 10 years as a chartered accountant specialising in computer audit, James retrained at Lincoln University in 2005, completing the Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology. James has owned and run Grape Vision since he purchased the business from Robin in 2010.

Tim Parker
Viticulturalist
Tim joined Grape Vision in 2020 after a career in both New Zealand and Australia. He has worked for both large corporates and smaller operations, including 10 years in Central Otago.

Mike Pitts
Machinery & Irrigation Manager
Donald has been with Grape Vision for 5 years, initially starting as a Technical Officer. He is responsible for vineyard management as well as the pest and disease monitoring, yield estimation, compliance and record keeping.

Sue Beattie
Vineyard Operations Manager
Mike has spent over 30 years in vineyards and orchards in various roles. He has been working for Grape Vision for over 10 years, starting as irrigation manager and his role has expanded to include machinery and trellis management.

Lars Thomsson
Administration Manager
Sue has been with Grape Vision for 6 years running the vineyard operations crew. This includes the permanent vineyard staff of 15 employees, up to 150 staff during the critical harvest phase.
Lars, originally from Sweden, has been a member of the Grape Vision team for 8 years. He is a Chartered Accountant and heaps up the very business Administration team.
